At one point during Friday’s game against the North Little Rock Charging Wildcats, Bryant head coach Paul Calley looked up and noticed that his kickoff coverage including eight guys — eight of 11 — that have hardly ever played on kickoff coverage.

But they had to be in there because the Hornets were that banged up. The usual group needed the down time.

Members of the Bryant Chamber of Commerce gathered to celebrate the opening of First Impressions in Bryant on Thursday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. By Martin Couch

Jim and Julie Cahanan have opened First Impressions in the Midtowne Bryant area on Main Street near Wal-Mart.

"We are an eight-year commercial cleaning company," Cahanan said. "We do full-service contracts and one-time jobs, large or small."

First Impressions also sells janitorial products ranging from hand soap, sanitizer, toilet paper, paper towels, floor equipment and cleaning chemicals to name a few items.

"I just try to cover the paper and plastics," Cahanan joked. "Seriously, buying it at a place like Sam’s is not as cheap. We thought it was before we opened, but we were sadly mistaken."

First Impressions also has full service delivery.
