BHS Honeybees to perform in Branson

The Bryant High School Honeybees will be performing in Branson, Mo., this Saturday, Dec. 4.

They will be the opening acts on the Showboat Branson Belle and[more] for The Haygoods' Show. The Honeybees will perform a 20-minute Christmas a capella program filled with a variety of holiday favorites.

The ensemble is under the direction of BHS Choral Director Julie White.

This will be the sixth year the Honeybees have performed in Branson. In the past, they have opened for other popular shows such as The Dixie Stampede, The Twelve Irish Tenors, and The Baldknobbers. The all-female ensemble consists of 14 students in 10th through 12th grade admitted by audition only.

Later this month, the Honeybees will be performing alongside several other Bryant choir groups in the school's annual Christmas performance. The show will be held Dec. 17 at 6:30 p.m., in Love Auditorium. Admission is free to the public.
