The Cal Ripken 12-year-old (50/70) All-Stars begin play in the Southwest Regional in Springdale, hoping to make the next step toward the World Series in Aberdeen, Md., starting Aug. 9.

Bryant teams are set to compete in Southwest Regionals at Long Beach, Miss. (both 7’s and 11’s), Pampa, Texas (10’s), Little Rock (9’s) and Bay St. Louis, Miss. (8’s). There is also a World Series for the 10's to be held in Ocala, Fla., starting Aug. 10.

Along with the 12’s, the Bryant 10’s won the State title. The 8’s were State runners-up with the 7’s finishing in the top five in the 8-and-under tournament. The Bryant 9’s were third at State.
