Boys & Girls Club members, staff plan to join in World Record effort

The members and staff of the Boys & Girls Club of Bryant are practicing hard for their attempt at[more] breaking a Guinness World Record. The record they plan to break is for the most people star jumping (jumping jacks) at one time. The attempt will be on Tuesday, March 22, at 5:30 p.m. in the Bishop Park gym.

And they invite all area residents to join in.

The attempt is being held at participating Boys & Girls Clubs all over the country at the exact same time for National Boys & Girls Club Week.

“We’re bringing attention to the importance of people of all ages living healthy, active lifestyles,” said Sarah Etters from the Club. “Everyone is invited to participate and the more people we have, the better. It doesn’t matter who you are or what your age — students, parents, or members of our community. We want to show our support for the importance of staying healthy.”
