CONWAY — Playing for the first time since Nov. 13, the Bryant White Lady Hornets seventh grade team of Bryant Middle School improved to 3-0 on the season with a 33-15 win over their counterparts from Conway on Tuesday night.
Tierra Trotter scored 11 points and Ivory Russ 10 to lead the way. Sierra Trotter added 6 with Tyianna Robinson, Celena Martin and Kinley Oholent scoring 2 each.
“Once again, our players gave a tremendous effort on defense for four quarters,” stated Bryant coach Kenny Hays. “The girls did a good job of handling Conway’s half-court trapping pressure. We are also starting to rebound better on both ends of the floor.
“All in all, it was a solid effort and I was pleased with the team’s performance,” he added.
The Lady Hornets are scheduled to host the Bethel Lady Hornets next on Thursday, Dec. 11.
