NORTH LITTLE ROCK — The Bryant White Lady Hornets eighth grade team of Bryant Middle School opened their game against North Little Rock Ridge Road with a 7-0 burst in the first quarter and went on to claim a 25-10 win in the first round of a tournament in North Little Rock on Monday.
The Lady Hornets are set to play tonight a 7:45 against Benton in the semifinals.
Meagan Chism led in scoring with 9 points. Kalia Walker added 8, Allie Dugan 5. Kristin Boyle scored 2 and Dulce Hernandez added a free throw.
The Lady Hornets led 14-6 at the half and 22-7 by the end of the third quarter.
