Bryant’s lighted Christmas parade returns

Get your creative thinking caps on for the 4th annual Lighted Bryant Christmas Parade sponsored by[more] Edwards Food Giant, Thursday, Dec. 1, at 6:30 p.m. on Reynolds Road. First prize is $150, second place is $100 and third place carries home $50.

The Christmas Committee is excited to return our parade to the evening and reminds participants that they will need to light up to be seen in the parade.
The Parade line up will be in the Bryant Middle School Parking lot at 5:30 p.m.

The parade will proceed up Sullivan and turn right on Reynolds Road. It will go down Reynolds Road to Northwest 4th Street and go in front of the High School, turn right at Wise Street, turns left on Boswell and right at School Street and winds behind the schools back to the Middle School lot.

Those who want to view the parade should set up along sidewalks from Sullivan South to NW 4th Street. No vendors are allowed alongside the parade route.

Entry forms are available at the Chamber and online at the Chamber website, www.bryant-ar.com. A $10 entry fee is required.

Entries can be a float, vehicle, marchers (please be sure the marchers are physically able to make this walk), bands, horses, etc. You must let us know you are coming, especially horses or other equines, due to state law on Coggins verification.

Edwards Food Giant will serve as Grand Marshall of the parade. The Bryant High Band, floats, beauty queens, “Stuff the Bus”, cars and horseback riders are currently registered.

"We are celebrating our new grocery store, but also all the various entities that make our holidays in the Bryant area great,” noted Lori Lemons, chairman.
