Friends In Christ Church to host rummage sale this weekend

Friends in Christ Lutheran Church, 4305 Highway 5 North in Bryant, will be hosting a huge indoor rummage sale Friday, Nov. 5, and Saturday, Nov. 6. The sale begins both mornings at 8 a.m. and runs til 1 p.m. each day.

There will be plenty of clothes, some quality baby things, toys, exercise equipment, and lawn equipment. There will be new items on Saturday as well.

Cancer Courage group starts

Cancer Courage, a cancer support group for cancer patients and survivors, will begin a program for six weeks to share stories about the challenges of cancer at Indian Springs Baptist Church beginning Sunday, Oct. 24, from 5-7 p.m.

Friends in Christ Lutheran Church, 4305 Highway 5 North in Bryant, will host a barbecue at the church on Saturday, Oct. 2, from 11 a.m. til 3 p.m.

Ticket price is $10 per dinner, which includes chopped pork, two sides, bread, dessert and a drink. For large families, the ticket price drops to $5 after the fourth dinner per family.Dine-in or carry out.
