Local karate arts students earn honors at tournament

Close to 100 Karate competitors met at Clinton on Saturday, Nov. 7 for the Open Karate Tournament.

Bryant was well represented in the event that had hosted children from ages 3 to adults. The divisions included Beginners, Intermediates, Advanced, Black Belt, and Masters divisions.

Bryant winners included Thomas Whitwell, Adon Motes, Christian Motes, Joseph Sartini, and Master Instructor Farren Wadley.The next tournament will be held in February at Harmony Grove High School.

Wadley expressed gratitude to sponsors Adams Pest Control, J.B.G. Roofing, redsuntraditions.net and Home Town Hotel for all of their support.
