Spring is almost here and the City of Bryant Street Department is gearing up to conduct their annual[more] spring clean up.
Each ward will take approximately one week to complete. Once a ward or street has been completed, work crews will not return to that particular ward or street.
There are no pickups on Saturday or Sunday.
Crews are scheduled each Monday on the following schedule: Ward 1, Monday, April 4; Ward 2, Monday, April 11; Ward 3, Monday, April 18; Ward IV, Monday, April 25.
Residents are asked to place small stacks of limbs and brush needs to be 12 inchesin diameter or smaller at curbside or next to the street by 7 a.m. on the Monday for your ward.
Crews will not pick up trash, leaves, or root wads as they have no way to dispose of these types of items.
Residents should be aware that, should inclement weather occur, Spring Clean Up may be temporarily delayed to help clear affected areas.
