The Saline County Regional Solid Waste Management District, in partnership with Esco[more] Recycling, will host a 2012 Saline County E-Waste Collection event this Saturday, Oct. 6, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m., at the old Harvest Foods parking lot on Main Street in Benton.
Computers, TVs, monitors, printers, game consoles, phones, telephones, etc., will be accepted.
In addition, Smarty the Fox, the organization’s new recycle mascot, will be introduced. Kids are invited to meet Smarty as their folks drop off unwanted electronics for recycling.
