Four arrests made as robbery investigation concludes

Four people from Little Rock have been arrested by the Bryant Police Department on charges involving an aggravated robbery that took place on Dec. 23, 2015, outside the Arkansas Revenue Department in Bryant.

The investigation, assisted by the Arkansas State Police and the U.S. Marshalls Fugitive Task Force, resulted in the initial arrest of Quinlan Broadway, 36, of Little Rock and Marqueena Simmons, 31, of Little Rock on Feb. 16, 2016. Both were charged with Aggravated Robbery.

Simmons was a state employee for the Revenue Department in Bryant at the time of the robbery. During the investigation, it was discovered that she assisted in planning the robbery.

On Tuesday, March 22, two additional arrests were made. Terry Raglin, 49, of Little Rock was charged with Aggravated Robbery, Fleeing, and Tampering with Physical Evidence. Angela Hicks, 30, of Little Rock was charged with Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution. She was charged in Pulaski County.

According to Sgt. Todd Crowson of the Bryant Police Department, on Dec. 23, 2015, Bryant Police officers responded to the Revenue Department, which is located at 101 N.W. 3^rd Street in Bryant, where a call had come in about a robbery that had just occurred in the parking lot.

When officers arrived on scene, the victim, who is the Office Manager of the Revenue Department, told Police that she had just gotten into her car with the night deposit bag when a Ford Explorer struck her vehicle and a black male opened the passenger door of her car, grabbed the money bag, and fled the area. The money bag contained an unknown amount of currency. It was later learned that there was a second black male involved in the robbery as well.

A description of the vehicle was given to other officers in the area. A Bryant officer located the vehicle on Reynolds Road. Officers pursued the vehicle to the area near the Geyer Springs Church, when the car was stopped the subject fled on foot back across I-30. Officers began a foot pursuit but were unable to locate the suspects at that time.
