Governor Beebe helps inaugurate Arkansas History Room at Bryant Elementary

 Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe was in Bryant Wednesday morning to help dedicate the new Arkansas History Room at Bryant Elementary School. The project was spearheaded by Jami Branch's third-grade class. Above, the Governor presents a plaque to the class. Students of Jami Branch's 3rd grade class decend the stairs in the gym floor where they were honored as the founders of the Arkansas History Room.  Following the students are Governor Mike Beebe and State Senator Shane Broadway.

3rd grade student, Max Hanner welcomes students and visitors to the dedication.
Faulkner County Judge, Preston Scroggins congratulates Bryant Elementary, Jami Branch and her students for the completion of the Arkansas History Room.  Scroggins donated an antique butter press to the room.
A representative of the office of Secretary of State, Charlie Daniels presents a copy of the "Arkansas Traveler" to be placed in the Arkansas History Room.

    Thank you Mrs. Branch for all the work that you and the kids put into doing this. That was a very good ceremony and you should be very proud.
