Twenty-year-old Heather Baker of Benton, the victim of a hit-and-run in the parking lot of Target on Thursday, passed away this morning at approximately 10:39 at the Baptist Hospital due to the injuries sustained from the incident.
Marcus Dorsey, 39, appeared in the Benton District Court earlier today for his bond hearing. His charges have changed to:
Murder in the First Degree
Leaving the Scene of an Accident – four counts
Driving on Suspended Driver’s License
Dorsey’s bond is set at $1,000,000.
