Seth Tucker ran for two scores, caught a touchdown pass and recovered a fumble as the Bryant Hornets junior varsity team defeated the Benton Panthers JV, 28-21, on Monday, Oct. 20, at Hornets Stadium.

The Hornets capitalized on a muffed punt in the fourth quarter on the way to the victory.

Cameron Coleman ran for a touchdown while Beaux Bonvillain connected with Tucker for the touchdown pass, covering 55 yards. Hayden Ray was good on all four of the Hornets’ extra point attempts.

“The defense played great and kept us in the game,” said Bryant coach Clint Shadwick. “Nick Hardin had an interception and fumble recovery. Madre Dixon played a great game at defensive end with several tackles for losses.”

The Hornets JV will be back in action on Monday, Oct. 27, at Cabot.
