The Arkansas Blast (Fast pitch softball team) has four girls from the Bryant Lady Hornets on it: Kayla Sory, Jessie Taylor, Cassidy Wilson and Jenna Bruick. They are in Panama City, Fla. for the USFA World Series 16U B division and are undefeated (3-0 pool play and 4-0 bracket play). The team has advanced to the Gold Bracket (there are four separate brackets and the top two teams advance to the gold bracket) on Saturday.
In addition, Lady Hornet Kelsie Works plays for Teeters Mixers and they were just eliminated one game away from the Gold Bracket.
Lady Hornet Ashley Chaloner leaves Saturday with her team for the ASA "A" Nationals in Sioux City, S.D.
