Police Report: Arrest made in fatal stabbing; thieves sought

A fatal stabbing occurred last week in Bryant.
Itzamanna Jiminez-Jasso is in the Saline[more] County Jail on second degree murder charges. His bond hearing was set for last Wednesday, officers said.

Jiminez-Jasso was isolated by Bryant Police in the driveway at the scene and found Ismael Tasle-Carreon dead with multiple stab wounds.

This case leads the list of crimes that have happened in Bryant in the last month.

On Dec. 15, thieves stole $4,000 worth of candy and cigarettes from two convenience stores in Bryant and are still on the loose. The first burglary happened at the Speedzone at 2301 N. Reynolds Rd. The front glass of the store was shattered by a brick and candy and cigarettes were taken and tossed on the floor.

The second burglary was at the Exxon station at 22755 I-30. The front glass of the establishment was shattered by a rock found inside.

Candy and cigarettes were taken and several racks were torn down. The suspects were caught on the store camera and are two black males.

The Bryant Police Department is still looking for both suspects.
