The 2012 graduating class of Bryant High School will be closing this chapter of their lives at 7 p.m., on Tuesday, May 29, at Verizon Arena in North Little Rock.
Approximately 480 students will walk this year. With those 480 students comes a large sum of scholarship money that will accompany them to the college or university of their choice.
According to Jessica Bollen, Communications Director of Bryant Public Schools, the Arkansas Challenge Lottery Scholarships total $3,528,000 for the 2012 class. Other merit based scholarships total $5,387,377 for a potential of almost $9,000,000 over a four-year period.
This week is the senior's last week of classes and the week of May 21-25 will wrap up the school year for the entire Bryant district.
