All three of the Bryant Lady Hornets’ scoring trio broke 50 but Cabot, behind an individual medalist round of 37, took team honors at a nine-hole match at Hurricane Country Club on Tuesday, Sept. 20.
The match also included a player from North Little Rock.
Cabot finished with a team score of 123 to Bryant's 140.
It was the final tune-up for the Lady Hornets before they compete in the Class 7A State Tournament at Fayetteville Country Club Sept. 26 and 28.
Peyton Weaver paced Bryant with a round or 42, shooting par on the first (par 4), second (par 4), fifth (par 4) and par-5 seventh. She finished third overall.
Savannah Cathey and Carley Miller each carded rounds of 49. Cathey’s round was highlighted by a birdie on the par-3 fourth hole. She shot par on the seventh. Miller shot par on the second, fourth and fifth holes.
In addition, Tiffany Robinson turned in a 52 which included a birdie on the second hole and pars on four and five. Kaylee Newell finished at 53 with a birdie on the fifth hole and a par on the second.
