Lee leads Bryant wrestlers to fourth at CAC

NORTH LITTLE ROCK — The Bryant wrestling team placed fourth in the 28-team CAC Invitational on Saturday at Central Arkansas Christian Academy.

Bryant had six place winners with defending State champion O'Dell Lee leading the way. Lee won the 195-pound weight class by pinning Nick Smith of Springdale Har-Ber at 1:21 of the first period. Lee was named the outstanding wrestler of the tournament.

Other place winners for Bryant were Brandon Powell, fourth at 120 pounds; Zack Simmons, second at 126; Brett Blend, fourth at 145; Connor Goshein, fifth at 160; and Levi Brady, wrestling for the first time this year, second at 170.
