The Bryant School District Transportation Department will be collecting toys today at the the parking lot behind Everett Motors from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., weather permitting, in their effort to “Stuff the Bus.”

In the campaign to collect Toys For Tots in Saline County, the transportation department, headed by director Tom Farmer, will be collecting toys through donations from the community in hopes of filling a school bus then delivering them to Toy Hill on Dec. 3.

“We have dedicated the month of November to filling the bus with toys,” Farmer said.

It is hoped that the bus can be filled in time to drive it fully loaded in the Bryant Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade scheduled for Dec. 1.

The bus is scheduled to be at Ashley's Furniture in Bryant Monday, Nov. 28, through Wednesday, Nov. 30, and on Friday, Dec. 2, from 5 to 8 p.m., each day.

A final collection day will be held on Saturday, Dec. 3, at Enterprise Lanes in Benton, from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
