Teachers honored by BHS students attending Arkansas Governor's School

From left, Ashton Eley, Lilah Sledge, Tara Seale, Pat Harris, Whitney Meyer, and Emily Roberts. Three teachers from the Bryant Public School District were selected as Influential Educators by Bryant High School students attending the Arkansas Governor’s School (AGS) at Hendrix College.

Tara Seale teaches 11th grade AP Language and Composition at Bryant High School and was nominated by Ashley Park and Lilah Sledge. Pat Harris teaches seventh grade English at Bryant Middle School and was nominated by Whitney Meyer. Julie White is the Choir Director at Bryant High School and was nominated by Rachel Lyons.

The teachers were recognized on June 28th at AGS. Eight Bryant students are currently attending AGS: Park, Meter, Ashton Eley, Sledge, Emily Roberts, Bruce Roberts, Jinson Kang, and Lyons.
