Bryant's Travis Wood has been recalled to the Cincinnati Reds Major League Baseball team.

The struggling Reds put reliever Logan Ondrusek on the 15-day disabled list and replaced him on the 25-man roster with Wood who was sent down to Triple-A Louisville in mid-June. It is expected that he will work out of the bullpen after serving as a starter for the Reds since the middle of the 2010 season. 

The Reds are the defending Central Division champion in the National League Central division. After a 3-2 loss to the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday night, the Reds are 55-61, 10 1/2 games behind the division-leading Milwaukee Brewers, in fourth place.
