RUSSELLVILLE — The Russellville Lady Whirlwinds freshman team showed that the strength of the volleyball program at their school is deep Monday night as they collected a 2-0 win over the Bryant Blue Lady Hornets of Bethel Middle School.
The Russellville High School team is one of the best in the state.
The Lady Hornets absorbed a 7-25, 17-25 setback. Highlights for Bethel included service aces for Karlee Kindy, Jenna Vos and Alyssa Sawyer.
The Lady Hornets wrap up the regular season on Monday, Oct. 20, at Conway White.
