WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? I’m going to go to Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and throw shot and disc. I’m going to major in marine biology.
OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO’S HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? HOW? My grandmother; she’s always been there and she’s really strong.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT TRACK? The team; it’s like we’re a family. We’re not just individuals. We all care for each other.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON SO FAR? It’s a good season. I’ve gotten a lot better and our team’s good. We’ve been undefeated.
WHAT’S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT TO THE SEASON SO FAR? I guess, placing since I haven’t placed before this year.
WHAT’S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL AT THE REST OF THE SEASON? Hard work and dedication.
TALK ABOUT YOUR EVENTS NOW; WHAT DO YOU THINK IS YOUR BIGGEST ASSET? WHAT ARE YOU MOST CONFIDENT IN YOUR ABILITY TO DO? I’m confident about my strength. I’m the strongest one out of the throwers.
WHAT DO YOU WORK HARDEST IN PRACTICE TO IMPROVE ON? I need to fix my spin because it’s not that good. If I could get my spin down, I’d throw better.
WHEN YOU’RE THROUGH RUNNING TRACK AT BRYANT HIGH SCHOOL, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL LOOK BACK AND REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE? The team and my coaches. I have a good throwing coach and the team’s a good support system.
