WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A KID? A Dragon Ball Z character toy, action figure.

WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? I’m going to college at A-State and hopefully get a business degree and a design degree.

OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO’S HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? HOW? Probably my grandmother. She’s been the backbone of my career in high school. She’s really been there for me the whole time.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT TRACK? It keeps me in shape, keeps me looking good.

EVENTS? I run the 4×800, the 800 open and the 4×400.

WHAT APPROACH DO YOU TAKE TO YOUR EVENTS? I basically just try to liquidate everything that’s in my mind, try to make sure everything is ready to go and focused. And if I’m not focused, I can’t run well.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON SO FAR? I think we’ve done good so far. We’re coming up on conference. Hopefully we can make State then the Meet of Champs.

WHAT’S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT TO THE SEASON SO FAR? The Hornet Relays. We did really good there, started off the season really strong. We all had really good times. I think we’ve gotten strong ever since then.

WHAT’S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL AT CONFERENCE AND STATE? It’s going to take hard work, blood, sweat and tears, a lot of man-hours on that track.

TALK ABOUT YOUR EVENT NOW; WHAT DO THINK IS YOUR BIGGEST ASSET? WHAT ARE YOU MOST CONFIDENT IN YOUR ABILITY TO DO? I run mid-distance and I think I do pretty well at them.

WHAT DO YOU WORK HARDEST IN PRACTICE TO IMPROVE ON? I try to work hard on finishing my race instead of just running it and getting it over with. I want to strive to finish well and get the best time possible.

WHEN YOU’RE THROUGH RUNNING TRACK AT BRYANT HIGH SCHOOL, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL LOOK BACK AND REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE? The people that surrounded me, the people who encouraged me and how many people helped me get stronger as a person, mentally and physically.
