Congo Lodge Chili cook-off from 3 – 6 p.m. This competition/ fundraiser is open to the public. There is no charge for the chili dinner but donations will be accepted and will benefit CJCOHN.

The Royal Players present “Kiss Me Kate.” Feb. 23-26 and March 1-4 at the Royal Theatre, 111 Market in Benton. Duane Jackson is directing, with music direction by Jo Murry. Thursday through Saturday shows will begin at 7 p.m., and Sunday performances will start at 2 p.m. Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for senior citizens and $5 for students. The Beat Goes On 5K Run/Walk. Feb. 25 at 9 a.m. Sponsored by the Saline County Memorial Hospital and Everett Buick GMC. Proceeds will assist underprivileged cardiac patients with medication expenses, as well as help fund new heart and vascular technology in Saline County. The 5K will start at Saline Memorial.
