The Bryant White Hornets eighth grade team of Bryant Middle School wrapped up their pre-holiday schedule by running out to a 14-0 lead over the Conway Blue Wampus Cats on the way to a 39-29 victory at the BMS gym Monday night.
Landyn Newburn scored 7 points with Will Diggins and Isaiah Kearney added 6 each.
“I thought this win was a complete team win,” said Hornets coach John Harrison. “Everyone hit the floor and played well the entire game.”
It was the fifth consecutive victory for Bryant White, which improved to 7-2 on the season. Their next game is scheduled to be Thursday, Jan. 18, at home against Benton.
