From Bryant Animal Control:

On Sept. 7, 2015, at approximately 8:30 p.m., in the Lexington Park Subdivision in Bryant, a woman was walking with her puppy along an unknown street in the neighborhood when a loose adult dog ran up to her puppy. When she reached down to pick up her dog, the other animal bit her on the hand and wrist breaking the skin.

The dog is described as medium to large in size, tan or brown with short hair and tail, possibly a “bully breed.” It was not wearing a collar. After the incident, the animal ran away from the area headed toward the Interstate.

Anyone with information regarding the location of this animal is asked to contact Bryant Animal Control at 501-943-0489 or the Bryant Police Department at 501-943-0943. Or email the department at animalcontrol@cityofbryant.com.

It is very important that Animal Control locate this dog immediately so that the bite victim does not have to undergo the rabies series of vaccinations.
