The Bryant Athletic Association has announced the rosters for the 2010 All-Star youth baseball teams. The annual quest for District, State and Regional tournament championships will begin on Friday, June 25, when five age groups take the field.
The 12-year-old All-Stars playing on the field with 60 foot base paths and 46 foot pitching distance (46/60) will play in their District Tournament at Benton, as will the 11-year-old team. The team of 10-year-olds along with the 9’s will be competing in District play at Ashley Park in Bryant while the 7-year-olds and 8-year-olds will be playing in Hot Springs.[more]
Babe Ruth District play (13, 14 & 15 year olds) along with the 6-and-under State Tournament commences on July 2. The 6’s will be at Sylvan Hills while the 15’s play at White Hall, the 14’s at Arkadelphia, and the 13’s at Benton.
The team of 12-year-olds playing on the larger field (50-70) will go right to State Tournament play to be held at the Little Rock Junior Deputy Field starting July 9.
That’s also the date for the State tourneys for the other Cal Ripken teams. The 12’s (46/60) will be at Magnolia; the 11’s will be at Junior Deputy; the 10’s at Monticello; the 9’s at Jacksonville; and the 7/8’s will be at Sylvan Hills.
State play for the Babe Ruth teams (13-15’s) begin July 16. The 15’s will be at Lonoke; the 14’s at Benton; and the 13’s at El Dorado. Regionals for 6’s also begin on July 16 at Sylvan Hills.
Cal Ripken Regionals start July 23 with the 12’s (50/70) at Amarillo, Texas; the 12’s (46/60) at Crossett; 11’s at Orange Grove, Miss.; 10’s at Pampa, Texas; 9’s at Zachary, La.; and 7/8’s at Kenner, La.
Babe Ruth Regionals commence July 30. The 15’s play at Madisonville, La.; 14’s at Bay City, Texas; and 13’s at Hugo, Okla.
Babe Ruth All-Star rosters were set to be announced on Wednesday night.

The team of 6-year-olds, managed by Jason Greiner with assistance from Wesley Grant and Ryan Martin, includes Evan Barrett, Luke Dreher, Dawson Goines, Dawson Grant, Caleb Greiner, Kason Highfill, Logan Hope, Conner Martin, Logan McDonald, Cade Parker, Hayden Thompson and Logan White.
The team of 7-year-olds, managed by Matt Orender with assistance from Patrick Schroeder, includes Luke Bessire, Dakota Clay, Cooper Davis, Noah Davis, Peyton Dillon, Austin Ledbetter, Jaggar Littleton, Justin Orender, Brett Pennington, Austin Schroeder, Lawson Speer and Garrett Wilson.
The 7’s open play at Benton on Friday, July 25, against the Benton 8’s, at 7:45 p.m.
The Bryant 8’s, managed by Clint Hilson with assistance from Mike Meaders and Bill Drennan, include Cade Drennan, Hayden Hilson, Colton Kilgore, Rhett James, Tyler Larue, Braydan Lester, Trey McKim, Jake Meaders, Riley Morales, Josh Prather, Shane Small and Gage Stark.
The 8’s open District action on Friday, July 25, against Hot Springs Village at 7:45 p.m.
The Bryant 9’s are managed by Michael Catton with assistance from Phillip Dupree and Madison McEntire. Team members include Logan Catton, Logan Chambers, Jake Cowell, Cade Dupree, Logan Grant, Coby Greiner, Sawyer Holt, Ryan Lessenberry, Will McEntire, Nathan McFarland, Hunter Mullings, Garett Nguyen and Chandler Taylor.
The district tourney for 9-year-olds will feature an opening match-up between Bryant and Benton on June 25 at 6 p.m.
Bryant’s 10-year-old All-Star squad is managed by Bill Kyzer with assistance from Kirk Schmidt and Chris McKinney. Team members are Myers Buck, Luke Curtis, Caleb Dorsey, Brooks Ellis, Dylan Johnson, Hunter Hilson, Preston Kyzer, Blake Pennington, Matthew Sandidge, Scott Schmidt, Larry Thompson and Cooper Wright.
The Bryant 10’s open District play against Benton on June 25, at 8 p.m.
Jerry East is the manager of the 11-year-old team with assistance from Rick Brown and Rusty Misenheimer. The team includes Landon Abernathy, Logan Allen, Drew Brown, Jake East, Jeffery Hastings, Dylan Hurt, Austin Kelley, Hayden Knowles, Garrett Misenheimer, Aaron Orender, Landon Smith and Diego Vargas.
At the 11-year-olds’ District Tournament, Bryant will face Hot Springs Village at 6 p.m. on June 25.
The 12-and-under team that plays on the 46/60 field includes team members Beaux Bonvillain, Zach Chambers, Daniel Darbonne, Ethan Cozzens, Noah Easterling, Austin Hooper, Jared Martinez, Jared Morales, Jake Pinson, Jake Roedel, Joseph Small and Logan Valestin. The team is managed by Rob Roedel with assistance from Jamie Easterling and Alton Darbonne.
The team will open District play against Benton at 8 p.m. on June 25.
The 50/70 12-and-under team will play Benton as well when it opens District play on July 2 at 8 p.m. The team is managed by Danny Jackson with assistance from Bryon Glenn and Johnny Alliston. The players are Conner Alliston, Bailey Bowers, Luke Brantley, Chase Brooks, Zach Byars, Conner Chapdelaine, Jordan Gentry, Zach Jackson, Caleb McElyea, Liam Miller, Conner Tatum, Hunter Winkles and Matthew Vangilder.
