The Bryant Blue Lady Hornets of Bethel Middle School put together a dominating performance for a 26-8 win over Hot Springs Lakeside.
They led just 4-1 after a quarter but expanded the margin to 15-3 by halftime and led 22-5 by the end of the third quarter.[more]
Dezarea Duckworth paced the effort with 9 points. Rori Whittaker added 6. Aubrey Allen, in her first game back after knee surgery in August, pitched in with 4. Keedy Harrison had 3 and Erica Smith 2.
The Lady Hornets are scheduled to play at North Little Rock this evening against Rose City.
