The Bryant Blue Lady Hornets of Bethel Middle School swept two volleyball matches from[more] Episcopal Collegiate Tuesday night at the Bethel gym.
In the eighth grade match, the Lady Hornets prevailed 25-18, 15-25, 15-9. Riley Hill contributed two blocks and served up a pair of aces. Alex Dillard added an ace in service as well.
“There were a lot of long volleys,” noted Lady Hornets coach Melissa Bragg. “The girls stayed focused and played well together.”
In the seventh grade game, Reagan Dabbs came through with 13 good serves in a row, highlighted by an ace. Regan Ryan, Amanda Burt and Lauren Hall each contributed a service ace as the Lady Hornets prevailed, 25-10, 25-14.
The eighth grade squad is set to play against Benton tonight at the Bryant Middle School gym, following a freshman match which will start at 5:30 p.m.
