Bryant's bid to win a fifth consecutive big classification weight-lifting title fell a little short on Saturday at the annual State Weight Meet. The Hornets combined to lift 4,540 pounds but finished third behind Springdale Har-Ber and Russellville. Junction City won the overall title.
Lifting for Bryant was Justin Rausch (260+ pounds), Ronnie Maxwell (259), Aspen Trevino (242), Marcus Harris (220), Brett Clemons (198), Cody Wallace (181), Brandon Wallis (165), Chris Arnold (145), Blake Thomas (132) and Forrest Fowler (123).
