Hosts not very hospitable to Bryant Blue girls

“We went back to our old selves and didn’t know where to line up,” commented Lady Hornets coach Rhonda Hall.

In the A game, Nikki Clay led Bryant Blue in scoring with 7 points. Sadie Powell went 3 for 4 from the free-throw line and Allison Hughes, Jamie Jamison and Allysa Sturgeon contributed a point apiece.

“Jamie did a good job on the boards,” Hall said. “Nikki did a good job getting open and finding the open shot for us. Allysa played aggressively to help us as well.”

Of the B game, Hall mentioned, “Yessenia Gasper did a good job on defense and AnnaMarie Blair played very hard and was aggressive.”

Bryant Blue is scheduled to return to action on Monday, Dec. 14, at home against the Anthony School of Little Rock.
