Local basketball teams return to action

After a brief break due to the snow, basketball for Bryant teams returns tonight with the latest renewal of the[more] Bryant-Benton rivalry. The freshman teams and the Bryant White eighth-grade squads from Bryant Middle School will travel to Benton.

The eighth grade games will begin at 5 p.m., one in the Panther Arena and the other in the fieldhouse. The freshman girls will follow at 6 in the Arena with the freshman boys finishing up the evening.

The Bryant Blue eighth grade teams of Bethel Middle School will play on Saturday at home against Little Rock Christian with the girls game at 9 a.m., followed by the boys. 

On Friday, the high school teams travel to Russellville to continue 7A/6A-Central Conference play.
