Local youth, organization honored by Keep America Beautiful

LITTLE ROCK – Evan Hurley of Bryant and the Saline County Regional Solid Waste Management District have received recognition from Keep America Beautiful Inc., the national community-improvement organization.

Hurley received a second-place Youth Recognition Award in the Individual category and the Saline County Regional Solid Waste Management District received a second-place National Community Improvement Award in the Beautification category.

In addition, Keep Arkansas Beautiful earned its fourth consecutive Diamond Level Award, the highest recognition bestowed by the national organization on its state affiliates. KAB is one of nine state affiliates to be a Diamond Level recipient.

The Gravette Public Schools fourth grade GATE class won a first place Youth Recognition Award in the Project category.
