The Bryant School Board unanimously approved the hiring of[more] Brad Matthews of Harmony Grove for the Head Girls Basketball Coach position at Bryant High School.
Currently, Matthews serves as Head Girl’s Basketball and Golf Coach at Harmony Grove High School, where he has served since 2008. Prior to his current position, Matthews worked as the Head Junior High Girl’s Basketball Coach for Sheridan Public Schools from 2007-2008 and Head Girl’s Basketball and Softball Coach at Glen Rose Public Schools from 2001-2007. Matthews also held coaching positions at Greenland Public Schools and Shiloh Christian High School, and served as a Graduate Assistant for the Women’s Basketball Program at Henderson State University.
Academically, Matthews has experience teaching American History, United States Government, Physical Education and Health. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Education degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education from the University of Central Arkansas.
