ROGERS — Bryant was well represented at the Arkansas vs. Oklahoma All-Star cross country meet Saturday at Rogers High School. In the girls division, Lady Hornet senior Melinda Murdock earned a top 25 medal with an 11th place finish in a time of 19:41. Murdock was the fifth Arkansas girl to cross the line.
In the boys division, Hornet sophomore Charlie Terry also earned a top 25 medal with a 17th place finish. Terry was the eighth Arkansas finisher. In the team competition, the Oklahoma squads came away with a sweep, winning the girls race by a score of 69 to 104 and winning the boys race 79-97. The top 9 runners combined places were used to determine each team’s score.
