The Rotary Club of Bryant, in conjunction with the Bryant Chamber of Commerce will host[more] a ribbon cutting of the new home of the Club’s Kid's Closet located on the grounds of and in partnership with Friends in Christ Lutheran Church in Bryant.
The event will be held Thursday, Nov. 8, at 11:45 a.m. The Friends in Christ Church is located at 4305 Highway 5 North in Bryant.
The Kid's Closet had it's home for years in a room in the upper floor at the First Security Bank on Highway 5 at Reynolds. With support from Friends in Christ, a building has been constructed and will serve as the new home for the Closet.
The Kid's Closet provides new and gently-used clothing, shoes, backpacks, hygiene items and more, to children in need within the community.
“We have a strong relationship with Bryant Schools and the local authorities to assist kids when in need of these essentials,” said Rotary spokesman Stephen Kincaid.
