SIBLINGS: I have a sister, Mary, who’s 19, and a brother who’s 13, Jimbo.

FAVORITE SUBJECT IN SCHOOL: Math

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME? Right now, hunting. It’s about to be deer season.

FAVORITE FOOD: Seafood

FAVORITE MUSIC ARTIST OR GROUP: I like all kinds of country music

FAVORITE MOVIE: Talladega Nights[more]

FAVORITE TV SHOW: The Office

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A KID? Nurf gunsWHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? I plan on going to college. I don’t know what I’m going to major in yet or where.

OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? My football coaches. All the football coaches I’ve ever had, even my peewee coaches, we hunt with them and stuff and they just set a good example on stuff.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT FOOTBALL: I love playing football. I like when you get a tackle, it really feels exciting.

POSITION: Defensive end

WHAT DO YOU FEEL LIKE IS YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY ON THE FIELD? To contain, make sure no one gets outside of me and pass rush on passes and get to the quarterback.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON SO FAR? We’ve had a good season. We haven’t played the best we can yet. The games we’ve lost, we could’ve played better.

WHEN THE TEAM’S DOING WELL, WHAT’S IT DOING? We’re just focusing and playing as a group, getting our assignments down.

WHAT'S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT TO THE SEASON SO FAR? Beating Conway because they were No. 1. That was pretty exciting.

WHAT'S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL THE REST OF THE SEASON? We’ve just got to be focused and keep people healthy. We have a lot of people that are getting hurt.

INDIVIDUALLY, WHAT ABOUT YOUR GAME ARE YOU MOST CONFIDENT ABOUT? Reading what to do. I could be a little faster on getting there but, knowing what to do, I guess.

WHAT DO YOU WORK HARDEST TO IMPROVE? Lately, it’s been pass rush because Coach (Brad) Stroud has really focused on that.

AFTER YOU'RE THROUGH PLAYING FOOTBALL AT BHS, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'LL REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT IT? Just the team and how close we are.
