WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A KID? I’d say, a football.

WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? I’m definitely going to college and, hopefully, pursue a music career. I’m looking at Arkansas State.

OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? My coaches. They’ve taught me a lot.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT FOOTBALL: Just the brotherhood of it, the unity that you get out of it working with other people.

POSITION: Defensive lineman

WHAT DO YOU FEEL LIKE IS YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY ON THE FIELD? Stop the ball from getting anywhere.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON SO FAR? I think we had a rough start with Conway but we’re starting to get the groove. We’re playing as a team.

WHEN THE TEAM’S PLAYING WELL, WHAT’S THE KEY TO THAT? We have momentum. We have that attitude where we know we’re going to do what we need to do and everything’s just starting to flow.

WHAT'S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT TO THE SEASON SO FAR? I think the comeback against Benton. You know, down 14-0 and everybody’s like, ‘Uh-oh’ then we came back and stomped them pretty good.

WHAT'S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL THE REST OF THE SEASON? We just have to work on playing together and learn how to play with and without momentum. And we have to start from the very first snap of the game, just come out playing hard.

WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT PINE BLUFF? They have a pretty powerful offense. They have a few key players. We’re just going to have to play from the first snap of the ball. If we play Bryant Hornet football, we’ll come out victorious.

INDIVIDUALLY, WHAT ABOUT YOUR GAME ARE YOU MOST CONFIDENT ABOUT? I think I’m pretty good at the run game. I still have a lot to work on but, basically, the run.

WHAT DO YOU WORK HARDEST TO IMPROVE? My pass rush. We have to start pressuring the quarterback more often.

AFTER YOU'RE THROUGH PLAYING FOOTBALL AT BHS, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'LL REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT IT? I’ll probably remember my brothers and my coaches, the things we’ve learned, the things we’ve done, all those times we got into trouble together and the fun we had with the victories.
