FAVORITE SUBJECT IN SCHOOL: History

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME? I like to fish and be outdoors.

FAVORITE FOOD: Pizza

FAVORITE MUSIC ARTIST OR GROUP: I listen to everything.

FAVORITE MOVIE: Waterboy

FAVORITE TV SHOW: Sportscenter; I like to watch sports on TV.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE TOY AS A KID? Anything that was a ball, football, basketball, soccer ball.

WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL? Go to UALR and get a Business degree.

OTHER THAN YOUR PARENTS, WHO HAS HAD THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? My grandma; she’s just always there for me no matter what and supported me in whatever I was going to do.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT SOCCER: I’ve just been playing it forever. I’ve been playing with this group of guys since we could walk and I just love it.

POSITION: Goalkeeper

WHAT DO YOU FEEL LIKE IS YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY ON THE FIELD? Stop the other team from scoring.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEASON SO FAR? We got off to a rocky start, lost four games in a row but we’ve gone undefeated in conference. I think now that we’re playing better we can win State.

WHAT’S BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT TO THE SEASON SO FAR? We beat Rogers in PKs and, obviously, beating Benton twice.

WHEN THE TEAM’S PLAYING WELL, WHAT GOING ON? We control the midfield, communicate and possess the ball.

WHAT’S IT GOING TO TAKE FOR THE TEAM TO BE SUCCESSFUL THE REST OF THE SEASON? Just keep doing what we’re doing, dominating the possessions and not giving up goals.

INDIVIDUALLY, WHAT ABOUT YOUR GAME ARE YOU MOST CONFIDENT ABOUT? My communication with my defense.

WHAT DO YOU WORK HARDEST TO IMPROVE? I try to get better at saving one-on-one shots and stopping near-post shots.

AFTER YOU’RE THROUGH PLAYING SOCCER AT BHS, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL REMEMBER MOST FONDLY ABOUT IT? All the hard work we had to put in and, hopefully by the end of it, we’ll see it all pay off with a State championship.
