Springhill Missionary Baptist Church will be holding Vacation Bible School during the week of June 14-18 beginning at 5:30 each evening with a small meal and will conclude at 8:30 each evening.
In addition, there will be a kickoff event on Saturday, June 12, from 5 to 8 p.m., that will include free drinks, hot dogs, chips, a jump house, games, face stamping and a cake walk.[more]
The theme is "Soul Survivor on Danger Island." Children will learn how God gives victory over obstacles in life as they study the lessons of David, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednigo, Hezekiah, Joshua and Gideon.
“Soul Survivor on Danger Island is an exciting and interactive learning experience for those who, this year, were in Kindergarten up to those just completing sixth grade,” said Deborah Grimmett of the church.
