Baseball tryouts for the Bryant Athletic Association Blue League, set for this Saturday, Feb.[more] 9, have been moved to the Bryant High School Fieldhouse indoor facility adjacent to the football field.
The times will remain the same as previously announced:
13-14 year olds, 9 a.m.
12 year olds, 11 a.m.
11 year olds, 1 p.m.
10 year olds, 3 p.m.
9 year olds, 5 p.m.
All players trying out for the Blue League need to be prepared for a call-back tryout on Sunday, Feb. 10.
Registration and candy (fundraiser) pick-up will also be available at the indoor facility during these tryouts. Times for registration and candy pick-up will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Candy will NOT be available for pick-up at Bishop Park as was previously announced. It will only be available at the indoor facility.)
Tryouts for the White League, Rookie and Instruction Leagues will be Saturday, Feb. 16, at Bishop Park, unless weather conditions force a move to the BHS fieldhouse.
The schedule is:
13-15 year olds, 9 a.m., Fields B1-B2
11-12 year olds, 9 a.m., Field A1
9-10 year olds, 9 a.m., Field A2
8 year olds, 11 a.m., Field C4
7 year olds, 1:30 p.m., Field C3
6 year olds, 4 p.m., Field C1
T-Ball (age 4-5) doesn not tryout.
Instructional (age 6-7) all must try out
Rookie (age 7-8) all must try out, unless you played in Rookie League as a 7 year old
Cal Ripken (9-10 White League) all must try out
Cal Ripken (11-12 White League) all must try out
Babe Ruth (13-15 White League) all must try out
Blue League, anyone interested in Blue League must try out
