Audrey Guyett, age 9, had an incredible day. She started the day by winning the 50-yard Freestyle Gold division; then won the 50-yard Backstroke Gold division; captured the crown in the Breaststroke and capped off the day by winning the 50-yard Butterfly Gold division. If she’d had a little more time, she would have probably cooked the hamburgers, parked a few cars and taken the microphone and done the announcing.

Kyle Douglas, age 17, had an impressive day as well. Kyle won the Silver division of the Freestyle, the Bronze division of the Backstroke, and swam the second leg of the winning Freestyle relay team. He then took the Silver division Breaststroke title – all the while, sporting a hairstyle that fit his personality. His father, Shawn, said, “Kyle is just here to have a good time.” When Kyle’s not “having a good time” racing, he doubles as the Bryant Hornet team mascot that you’ll see roaming the sidelines of the football games this fall.[more]
