Benefit MudBowl volleyball tournament to be held at Mills Park

Saline County’s first MudBowl volleyball tournament will be held at Mills Park on Saturday, Aug. 28.

Beginning at 9 a.m., teams will play mud volleyball and all proceeds will go to help benefit the American Red Cross.[more]

"This is a family event with food, drinks and inflatables for the children," said Derek Phillips, park supervisor.

There will be an American Red Cross blood mobile on site for those who would like to donate blood while enjoying the activities.

"This will be a wonderful event for everyone to come out and have some fun," Phillips said.

MudBowl sponsors of $500 receive corporate names and logos on official MudBowl volleyball t-shirts and a free booth at the event. Business can donate door prizes. Any team that raises $100 or more beyond their entry fee will receive free MudBowl volleyball t-shirts for each player. Booth rental for vendors is $50.
