BHS students excel at math competition

Six Bryant High School students received awards at the ACTM regional math competition at Hot Springs on Saturday, March 7. Kyle Sadler, Rebecca Cario and Brady Gilleran each earned first-place honors. Wenjie Zhu, Marshall Callicott and Ansley McDonald also earned awards.

Sadler picked up his first-place award in Pre-Calculus while Cario was first in Statistics and Gilleran was first in Calculus. Zhu finished second in Pre-Calculus and Callicott was second in Algebra 2. McDonald was third in Algebra 2.

Each student has qualified to compete at the State ACTM competition on April 26 at UCA.
