PEARCY — Trey Miller drilled four 3-pointers and Cameron Hunter dished out 12 assists as the Bryant White Hornets eighth grade team of Bryant Middle School forged a 45-28 win over the Lake Hamilton’s Wolves on Monday night.

“We played really well,” said Hornets coach John Harrison. “Everyone saw action and we got a great team effort.”

Miller finished with 12 points.

The Hornets, now 5-1, host North Little Rock Gold on Thursday at 5 p.m., prior to the freshman games at Bryant Middle School gym. They’ll be trying to avenge their lone loss of the season, a 43-40 setback that opened a tournament in North Little Rock on Nov. 14.
