Jaylen Williams hit five 3-pointers for a team-high 15 points but the Bryant Blue Hornets eighth grade team of Bethel Middle School came up two-points short of the Cabot North Panthers, 31-29 on Tuesday night.
Demetrius Sanders added 11 points and Zach Foote had 2 for the Hornets, who fell to 3-4 on the season going into Thursday’s home battle with Bryant White.
The Panthers held an 18-17 lead at the half and upped the margin to 25-21 going into the third quarter.
