The Bryant Babe Ruth 15-year-old All-Stars will be holding a pair of fundraising events to[more] help defray the costs of their trip to Plainview, Texas, for the Southwest Regional tournament July 28-Aug. 2.
The team with many of the same players reached the Babe Ruth World Series last year.
First, the team will have a chicken dinner fundraiser. The dinner will include two chicken quarters, baked beans, potato salad and silverware for $7. If five or more dinners are ordered, they will be delivered to offices or homes this Friday, July 22. Dinners will also be available to be picked up at the Cajun Eatery parking lot between 4 and 7 p.m., on Monday, July 25.

In addition, the team will hold car washes at two locations this Saturday, July 23, from 7:30 to 11 a.m. One will be held at the parking lot for Larry’s Pizza on Highway 5. The other will be held at the Citgo Cornerstone at the corner of Boone and Alcoa.
